The List of Many To-Dos

This list started as a list of resolutions for 2010 and morphed into a scary looking to-do list.  I have popped it up here as a page so I can refer to it, add to it and cross off things as I get to them.

Edited: I have split them up into Big Aims and Tickable To-Dos but it bugs me not being able to tick some of the things off in the same list – I can’t tick off ‘sew more’, ‘read more’ etc. until 31st December 2010.

Big Aims

  • Do my Open University work on time course is finished!!!
  • Sew more
  • Get to bed earlier
  • Blog more and better
  • Cook and bake more
  • Be more organised at home
  • Keep the momentum up with Sew Make Believe
  • Take my vitamins
  • De-clutter
  • Travel to a new city it probably wasn’t what I had in mind but we went to Portsmouth in June
  • Read all the books on my bedside shelf.
  • Post at least once a month to our Vimeo account.
  • Wear more colour / perfume / jewelry / make-up / nail varnish
  • Have a baby (woo Evelina born on 27 Nov)

Tickable Crossable To-Dos

  • Blog here and for Sew Make Believe about the club’s secret santa night, the quilt for Mum and Dad, handmade bunting I received from a friend, reflections on 2009
  • Catch up with all my 20 second reviews.
  • Eat no KFC, McDonalds, Burger King or delivered pizza at all in January – Done!
  • Learn to make an animated gif (see here and I don’t care if that’s cheating)
  • Print some photos for a photo frame I bought for Rich for our wood anniversary (ie our fifth anniversary ie in 2008) – thanks to free Snapfish prints
  • Send off for at least 1 photo book with our best photos so we can actually enjoy them without having the computer on.
  • Sort out all the music on my laptop and finally get around to syncing it with my iPhone
  • Organise my Singstar discs, making a list of all the songs I have and which disc each song is on
  • Organise my dressing area
  • Finish watching Supernatural so I can give the boxsets back to Cie (sorry honey!)
  • Finish Mum and Dad’s quilt (hand sew the binding, finish the hand quilting, make the label)
  • Finish the last felt Christmas decorations (three down, three to go)
  • Make at least one thing from each of my craft/sewing books
  • Making Halloween decorations for Halloween 2010.  I bought all the gubbins before Halloween last year and didn’t get chance to make anything so I better start now ready for this year. (One decoration counts, ok?!)
  • Finish making another 2 squares for the sampler quilt for our bedroom.  I need to make about 20 squares and I have made 2.  I started more than 2 years ago.  At this rate, it should be finished in 2028 or thereabouts.
  • Make a sock toy for my brother – he has especially requested me one after buying me a book about it!
  • Make our wedding scrapbook.  For our wedding which was in 2003.
  • Make a mini-scrapbook to save some of the memorabilia that I have collected over the years.  I bought all the supplies the year before last.
  • Finish reading The White Tiger (our Sew Make Believe book club book)
  • Catch up with reading my Buffy comics.
