For 2012, I want to concentrate on two areas: the home and finishing up old (very old!) projects. In the case of my king-sized sampler quilt, these two areas cross-over since it is a very old project for the home.
On Wednesday, I ran an American Pieced Patchwork workshop at sew make believe to make a Maple Leaf block and this tied in perfectly with kick starting my quilt again. I hadn’t originally set up the workshop as a means of getting on with own project but it seemed like an ideal project to work on over two workshops. Above is the completed Maple Leaf block – now I need to cut the wadding and the backing and then hand-quilt it before moving on to the next block.
I have set up a new page for my Make List which includes all the things I want to work on this year and I am using Pinterest to store all my crafting inspiration finds.
