Last night we had a sit ‘n’ sew evening with sew make believe and I took two projects with me. First (which I did not get to) was the mini-quilt I started making at the workshop I ran a couple of weeks ago. The second was the third of six felt Christmas decorations I have been making for yonks. You might remember I mentioned them a few times… I have finally finished the Gingerbread Lady, which was the last one out of the 2008 Christmas pack.
I know just have the three from the 2009 Christmas pack to make. It might seem odd to be getting Christmas decorations made in June but I am trying to clear the decks of all the old projects I have lying around so that I can crack on with my baby projects. I am chuffed with how this has turned out – it might not be terribly creative following someone else’s pattern but it is very satisfying nonetheless.
