Congratulations Lee! It was a close final and they both deserved to be there but I was chuffed that Lee won (although I don’t think I will be buying his single since I find U2 pretty dreary – so sue me).  So that’s it for another year. Who knows if Idol will be any good without Simon?

Edit: I probably WILL buy his album though.
