So FINALLY Whip It has got it’s UK release date (put 7th April in your diaries!) and to celebrate, one of Birmingham’s Roller Derby teams, Central City Rollergirls are running a free skating event on Saturday 17th April.
I am curently plucking up the courage to go – it would certainly give me a chance to see there is any hope that one day I could participate in Roller Derby. If not, I still really want to start making it to their bouts – so far this year, I have been busy for every single bout – grr! Incidentally, I may be getting ahead of myself but I am still trying to think up a decent Roller Derby name.
