WordPress.com has just released a new feature which will allow you receive email notifications of my new blog posts. Just click on the button in my sidebar over there on the right. This may be of interest for those of you who do not use a feed reader to keep up with the blogs you read (although if you do read a few blogs and you aren’t using a reader, I suggest you check out Google Reader pronto!).

What a good idea! I use Google Reader and it’s good, but it’s often a bit slow to add new posts to your feed, so I’ll be interested to see if this feature is any more efficient. Massive nerd, moi?!
There is no judgement from me!! I am a huge nerd! And I have no idea. I plan on subscribing to my own blog to see what it looks like and how quickly the posts arrive…
Follow up: The emails come pretty quickly – quickler than Networkblogs updates Facebook with my feed (that takes forever)…
