I am just settling in to my new squarespace blog home and I am already very happy with it.  The funtionality is not quite as extensive as a WordPress self-hosted blog but for my needs, it is more than sufficient and the ease with which I can mess about with the layout and the simplicity of the site is very appealing.

So if you have read my blog before, you will see that there are still five main sections – they are explained in my new about me page ‘Meet Kate‘.  I want to spend more time on the posts and less time on the site itslef so I am hoping this latest change will help me accomplish that.
